This Privacy Notice (hereinafter, the "Policy") establishes the terms under which the Albatross Cup, its Organizing Committee, and its affiliated entities (hereinafter, "We", "The Tournament", or "The Organization") collect, use, protect, and process the personal data of its participants, Hospitality guests, sponsors, and official website users (hereinafter, the "Data Subject" or "You").

This Policy has been designed with the highest standards of confidentiality and institutional rigor, ensuring that your personal information is treated in a legitimate, controlled, and informed manner, preserving at all times the exclusivity and privacy that characterize our event in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

1. IDENTITY AND DOMICILE OF THE DATA CONTROLLER

The Albatross Cup, with its base of operations in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, is the entity responsible for the collection, disclosure, storage, use, handling, exploitation, and/or disposal of the personal data that You provide to us through our official registration channels, customer service, and our website.

2. PERSONAL DATA SUBJECT TO PROCESSING

To carry out the purposes described in this Policy, and given that our digital ecosystem currently does not require the creation of permanent user accounts, we will directly and exceptionally collect the following personal data:

  • Identification and Contact Data: Full name, age, date of birth, address, personal or corporate email, and landline or mobile telephone number.
  • Billing and Financial Data: Tax Identification Number (RFC), corporate name, tax domicile, payment method, and bank transfer receipts (expressly excluding the storage of credit/debit card numbers or security codes on our servers).
  • Sports Data: Playing level, estimated handicap (if applicable), and home golf club.
  • Health and Emergency Data: Dietary restrictions, severe allergies, critical medical conditions that we must be aware of for first aid purposes, and emergency contact numbers.
  • Biometric and Image Data: Photographs, video recordings, and voice logs captured during the course of The Event.

3. PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING

Your personal data will be used solely and exclusively for the following primary and secondary purposes:

Primary Purposes (Strictly necessary for The Event):

  • To manage and confirm your registration as a Player or the issuance of your Hospitality Guest pass.
  • To coordinate tournament logistics, foursome assignments, caddies, and Tee Times.
  • To provide food, beverage, and amenity services tailored to your reported requirements or restrictions.
  • To issue tax receipts (invoicing) and manage the validation of your bank transfers.
  • To guarantee security, access control, and the delivery of credentials or identification wristbands at the Official Venue.
  • To provide first-response medical assistance in the event of accidents or emergencies during the tournament.

Secondary Purposes (Institutional and marketing use):

  • To send official communications, itineraries, and relevant updates prior to the date of The Event.
  • To promote future editions of the Albatross Cup, exclusive pre-registration offers, and satisfaction surveys.
  • To use your photographic or videographic image for the creation of promotional content, post-event galleries, and the historical archive of the tournament.

4. PROTECTION OF THE CORPORATE ECOSYSTEM (NON-TRANSFER TO THIRD PARTIES)

Under no circumstances will we sell, rent, share, or transfer your direct contact information (emails, phone numbers, or physical addresses) to our Official Sponsors (Title Sponsor, Gold, Silver, etc.) or to third parties for commercial prospecting purposes. Contact with sponsoring brands will be organically limited to the voluntary interactions You choose to have with them in person at the networking areas, sponsor stands, or the '19th Hole' during the course of The Event.

Your data may only be transferred, without requiring your express consent, to third-party providers of strictly operational services (such as ambulance medical services in case of emergency, or legal/accounting advisors for the fulfillment of tax obligations) and to competent authorities that require it by judicial order.

5. IMAGE AND BROADCASTING RIGHTS

By registering for and attending the Albatross Cup, You understand and agree that The Event will be documented. Therefore, You grant the Organization your explicit, irrevocable, and royalty-free consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or recorded. This material may be edited, copied, exhibited, published, or globally distributed for advertising, marketing, and promotional purposes of the Albatross Cup on our website, social media, printed materials, and press releases. If, for strict personal security reasons, You require that your face not be broadcast in public galleries, You must submit a formal written request to our Organizing Committee at least fifteen (15) days prior to The Event to establish the appropriate blurring protocols.

6. USE OF COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

Our official website may use cookies, web beacons, and other automated tracking technologies to monitor user behavior online. These tools allow us to collect statistical information, such as browser type, operating system, pages visited within our portal, and IP address. This information is collected anonymously to optimize the user's browsing experience and improve the structure of our website. You may disable the use of these technologies directly in your internet browser settings.

7. SECURITY MEASURES AND DATA SAFEGUARDING

We have implemented strict administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your personal data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction, or unauthorized use, access, or processing. Our database is encrypted, and access to it is restricted exclusively to high-level personnel of the Organizing Committee who require such information to fulfill their operational duties.

8. EXERCISE OF ARCO RIGHTS AND REVOCATION OF CONSENT

You, as the Data Subject, have the inalienable right to Access the personal data we hold, Rectify them if they are inaccurate or incomplete, Cancel (delete) them when You consider they are no longer required for any of the aforementioned purposes, or Oppose their processing for specific purposes (ARCO Rights).

Likewise, You may revoke the consent You have granted us for the processing of your data or limit their use (e.g., requesting to stop receiving emails about future editions).

To exercise any of these rights, You must send a formal request through our official channels and communication media published on the website. Your request must contain: full name, a document proving your identity, and a clear and precise description of the personal data regarding which You seek to exercise any of the aforementioned rights. The Organization will issue a resolution within a period not exceeding twenty (20) business days.

9. ACCEPTANCE AND CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

Registering to participate, purchasing an access pass, or browsing our website implies your full understanding and unconditional acceptance of the terms of this Policy.

The Albatross Cup reserves the right to make modifications or updates to this Privacy Notice at any time to comply with legislative changes, internal policies, or new requirements for the provision of our services. Such modifications will be available and promptly published in the corresponding section of our official website.
